Does the mere thought of going on a diet fill you will dread because up until now you haven’t known how to lose weight without giving up good stuff? Because going on a diet has always been about deprivation in some shape or form?

If you’re nodding your head right now, then I want to reach out to you and promise you that there is a way to lose weight once and for all that won’t have you focussing on all the things you have to give up, but instead will have you focussing on all the things you enjoy.

So let’s get started on a short list of how to lose weight without doing stupid stuff.

How To Lose Weight Without Dieting

how to lose weight withoutAs soon as I hear the word diet, all I think about is, “What do I have to give up?”

I don’t believe in dieting any more. I don’t think it’s natural and I don’t think it works. For goodness sakes, if diets worked I wouldn’t still be trying to lose the same 50lbs for the past 33 years! They don’t work because all you’re thinking about when you’re on a diet is all of the yummy stuff you want to eat when you get to your goal weight. The problem with this is, if and when you do get to goal, if you go back to your old eating patterns, you’re simply heading back in the same direction you’ve just come from.

I’ve always wanted to know how to lose weight without dieting so I started to look into this subject seriously. What I discovered was eye-opening.

I learned that I had to learn to think about food differently. I had to start looking at food as a way to nourish my body – not attack it. I had to look at everything I was putting into my mouth and ask myself, is this a healthy fuel or a toxic waste?

Remember, EVERYTHING you put in your body has to be processed by your body. If you put in JUNK, your body is going to turn it into JUNK on your HIPS. As always, I am over simplifying things here because I don’t believe this is a complicated subject.

You are what you eat. It’s as simple as that.

So throw away the junk and start looking at healthy proteins, veges, fruits, nuts and legumes as your fuel source.

I promise you, if you can just throw away the JUNK for TWO weeks, you’ll FEEL the difference in your body. I won’t lie to you, if you’re heavily addicted to chemically laden toxic food it’s not going to be easy for the first two weeks. But you have to decide how bad you want your goal. Do you want to lose weight bad enough that you’re prepared to change the way you eat? Because if you’re not prepared to change, nothing in your life will change.

For things to change, first you must change.

How To Lose Weight Without Depriving Yourself

Deprivation diets work for a short period of time. They work for as long as you can handle the deprivation.

But here’s the problem with deprivation diets. When you’re on one, all you can think about is everything you can’t eat. Sure they’re a great way to lose weight fast and get instant results. But if you haven’t learned any new behaviors whilst on your deprivation diet you’re in for a load of trouble when you come off it.

It makes far more sense to learn how to eat delicious foods that taste good, provide nourishment, eliminate toxic food cravings and help you lose weight whilst you eat them. Doesn’t it???

Most diets make you miserable don’t they? You can’t have this, you can’t have that, you can’t go here and there …

How is this a recipe for success? It’s NOT!!! And that’s why diets don’t work!!!

You’ve got to find a way to lose weight that you can fit into your lifestyle that makes you happy whilst you’re doing it!

When you choose to eat natural foods you can go anywhere you want, whenever you want. Check this out … your husband wants to take you out for a romantic dinner and you’re on a deprivation diet. Do you say, “Sure … let’s go and I’ll pack a shake!” NO!!! What do you say instead, “Don’t you know I’m on diet??? How inconsiderate of you!”

No wonder diets don’t work. Even the husbands don’t want a bar of it.

But if you’re eating from nature the whole menu opens up to you.

In this day and age of food intolerances and allergies, restaurants have wizened up to the fact that they need to be accommodating to special food requests. So you can order fish, chicken or beef with all the sauces on the side if you wish. There’s always the option of a green side salad and most times even steamed veges on the side. You can go out and eat healthy.

So why say no to a romantic gesture, just because you’re on a diet? Doesn’t make sense and it doesn’t work.

So if you’re trying to work out how to lose weight without being miserable, simply adopt a healthy eating plan that fits in with your life. There are so many healthy food options to choose from that will keep you and your taste buds delighted whilst you lose weight.

How To Lose Weight Without Saying No To Life

Say yes to life. You’re going to be living it for a long time so you’re going to have to find a way to adopt a healthy lifestyle if you really want to lose weight and keep it off forever.

The family wants to go away for a week and all you can think of is, “But I have to do my exercise routine, and I have to eat my pre-packaged foods.” That doesn’t sound like fun, does it?

I get that you want to stick to your diet and exercise routine, but should going away for a week really put such a spanner in the works? No it shouldn’t.

So you can’t do the workouts you’d normally do for a week. So what! Pack your running shoes and go for a 45min walk each day. It may be a nice break in routine for your body and you! See different sights. Walk a different path. It’s good for you.

And when it comes to eating, well if you’re eating from nature that’s never going to be a problem.

How To Lose Weight Without Going Crazy

By adopting a method of losing weight that’s natural and can easily be incorporated into your lifestyle, you’re not going to go crazy. Because this will BE your life, FOR life. Dieters go crazy when they go against nature. It’s as simple as that. So if you really want to know how to lose weight without going crazy, just try going natural for 2 weeks. That’s all I ask.

If you’re overweight and miserable and you’re addicted to JUNK food, you’ve got to understand that it’s the toxic chemicals in the foods you’re eating that are making you overweight and miserable. Again, this is not rocket science here.

Addiction to junk food is not that dissimilar to other addictions. You’ve got to break the pattern.

I believe that diets don’t work, that the diet industry has a vested interest in keeping us fat, and that the only person who can really make it happen is YOU. You have to make a decision to make the necessary changes in your life in order for you to be happy.
